You too can cure bad roommate dish habits with creative sculptures made of those dirty dishes and public shaming. Yes that is counterweighted at the top and yes it is dish jenga. Guarantee that won't be happening again. Do yer dishes, roomies. Or I will make it a freak show.

I had a roommate who didn't do her dishes for six days and I was adamant I wasn't doing the ruddy things. She went to London for a few days on the sixth day and I text her saying what the hell and she replied they were my dishes and was annoyed I hadn't done them yet and only replied 'oh ye', okay sorry' when I pointed out that they weren't. She also took off to Surrey for christmas with my razor and I needed a shave to go to midnight mass at the cathedral, I text to see if she'd seen it and was told she had it and didn't even leave me with a razor blade to use, the kicker was for christmas she got me a ruddy Gillette gift set for christmas.

Roommates suck.

Though I did live with another lass who couldn't sleep and always wanted to talk in bed till she fell asleep. It got annoying shouting through walls all the time so in the end we just shared her bed. We'd take till she fell asleep and I'd watch tv till I fell asleep.

Some seniors that I'm friends with have a very simple cleaning policy in regards to their apartment: let the apartment get messy enough that the people that hang out there get fed up with the mess and clean it up for them.
you might think this wouldn't work very well and that people would eventually just stop wanting to hang out in the mess.
nope. it works perfectly.
I'm not talking just picking up the beer cans, I mean get on their hands and feet and scrub the disgusting floor clean. Why it works is one of the greatest mystery's I have ever encountered.
